| An ancient dystopian past holds the key to saving the future. At stake is humanity in a war against a host of supernatural foes. XiaoMei walked home from school in early 2002. The 13 year old had seen many old colonial neighborhoods torn down in the area, as China began its drive towards modernization. Exploring these ruins often uncovered rare trinkets left behind when the Japanese fled from the city at the end of the war. But on this day the discovery would change her life and the fate of all mankind. Buried under the former railroad warehouse was an ancient entity. The soul of an ancient Chinese scientist that had merged with the spiritual energy of a banished alien race, were imprisoned in a crude yet mammoth robotic body. The hulking clocktower man had survived the centuries to face its greatest battle, with XiaoMei as his only friend and companion. |
