Anydesk is a kind of remote desktop application. its main function is to remote VPS. but there are several things that anydesk has more than the built-in remote desktop. among them namely
Anydesk's advantages over the built-in Remote Desktop:
- Safe, because login uses AnyDesk ID, while IP is hidden.
- MetaTrader startup/auto-start feature on restart is working optimally
- 100% Free. No additional costs, you can use the free version of AnyDesk.
Anydesk's disadvantages compared to Remote Desktop:
- RDP on Digitalku is equipped with Brute Force Protection, so it is relatively safe.
- The free version of Anydesk sometimes displays ads which are quite annoying.
How to Install on a VPS
STEP 1: Login to VPS via remote desktop beforehand How to log in to Remote Desktop VPS Windows on Mac
STEP 2: Download Anydesk from vfxwelcome.digitalku.com . along with the tweaks contained within
STEP 3Open AnyDesk and set your desired password. When you open it, you'll automatically receive an AnyDesk ID that you can use to log in. Note the ID and set the password by clicking the Lock button.
STEP 4: Perform Installation AnyDesk. The goal is for AnyDesk to run automatically when the VPS restarts. This will then become the default remote connection, replacing Remote Desktop.
During the AnyDesk installation, a blank white screen might appear, as shown in the screenshot. However, it's already complete. You can click on it. X
STEP 5: Turn off Discovery . This is so that our AnyDesk ID cannot be scanned by other VPS users.
STEP 6: Disable Remote Desktop and Remove RDP Password. This step is crucial. The purpose of disabling the built-in remote desktop is to provide additional security. This prevents hackers exploiting the IP address from brute-forcing the VPS. Removing the RDP password also allows the feature to be used. Startup to run Meta Trader automatically can work well
After you do this, you will no longer be able to log in to Remote Desktop. However, you can log in via the previously installed AnyDesk.
Do Remote AnyDesk
On Local PC, download anydesk on https://anydesk.com/en/downloads/ . then enter the AnyDesk ID and password

First Login: When you first log in to AnyDesk, you might be prompted to enter your password. If so, simply click the ➡️ arrow without entering your password.
Resolution Settings: If you feel the font is too large or doesn't fit, please adjust the resolution to suit you best.
