How to configure MetaTrader to automatically launch every time your VPS restarts, using Autologon and the Windows Startup folder.
By configuring auto-start, MetaTrader will launch automatically after every VPS restart — ensuring your trading activity continues without interruption even when the server reboots.
This tutorial has been tested on all Digitalku VPS operating systems.

STEP 1 — Register Your VPS Password in Autologon
Autologon is required so Windows can log in automatically on restart without a manual password entry.
If Autologon is not yet installed on your VPS, follow this installation guide: https://youtu.be/MZFtfs-TcJ8
Once installed, register your VPS password in Autologon. Repeat this step whenever you change your VPS password.
STEP 2 — Add the MT4 Shortcut to the Startup Folder
Place the MetaTrader shortcut you want to auto-launch into the Windows Startup folder.
Quick way to open the Startup folder:
- Press Win + R to open Run
- Type
shell:startupand press Enter - Copy and paste your MetaTrader shortcut into the folder that opens
After this, MetaTrader will automatically start every time the VPS restarts.
