How to Change the Password on a Windows 10 VPS

You can change your Windows 10 VPS password to something easier to remember. Here's how.

Important: Once changed, do not forget your new password. Digitalku does not store your password. If you forget it, the only option is to reinstall the VPS.

Steps

Step 1 — Log In to the VPS

Log in via Remote Desktop using the Administrator account.

Step 2 — Open Computer Management

Right-click the Start button → select Computer Management.

Step 3 — Access the Administrator User

1. In the left panel, click Local Users and Groups → Users
2. Right-click the Administrator user
3. Select Set Password...
4. Click Proceed on the confirmation dialog

Step 4 — Enter the New Password

Fill in both New Password and Confirm Password with the same new password.

Password requirements:

• Must contain lowercase letters, uppercase letters, and numbers
• Minimum 3 characters (a longer password is recommended)

Step 5 — Click OK

Click OK, then click OK again on the confirmation dialog.

Your Windows 10 VPS password has been successfully changed.
