Here is a simple tutorial for changing your digiOS Forex VPS password.
1. Log in to the VPS
Make sure you are already logged in to your digiOS VPS (the desktop is open).
2. Open Terminal
Click Terminal (or right-click on the desktop → Open Terminal)
3. Run the Password Change Command
Type the following command, then press Enter:
vncpasswd
4. Enter Your New Password
- Type your new password
- Press Enter
- Re-type the password to confirm
- Press Enter
When typing the password, no characters will appear — this is normal.
5. Read-Only Password Prompt
If the following question appears:
Read only password? (y/n)
- Press the letter n
- Press Enter
Done ✅
Your VPS password has been successfully changed and is immediately active.
