Several customers have reported being unable to log in to their Digios VPS due to a "Too Many Authentication Failures" error message. After investigation, we found that this issue originates from the VNC configuration on the affected VPS.
The good news: this issue has already been resolved. Any VPS activated after July 7, 2026 will not experience this problem.
However, if your VPS was activated on or before July 7, 2026, we recommend running the fix below to prevent encountering the same issue.
The Fix
1. If You Can Still Log In
Run the following command in your VPS terminal:
cd /tmp/ && wget -O fixlogindigios.sh https://www.digitalku.com/ext/fixlogindigios.sh && chmod +x fixlogindigios.sh && ./fixlogindigios.sh
This command will automatically download and run the fix script. Once it finishes, your VPS should be free from the "Too Many Authentication Failures" error.
2. If You Can No Longer Log In
