How to Change the DigiOS VPS Password

Here is the tutorial simple, to change the Forex Thin VPS password

1. Log in to VPS

Make sure you already logged in to VPS digiOS (the desktop view is already open).

2. Open Terminal

  • Click Terminal
    (or right click on desktop → Open Terminal)

3. Run the Change Password Command

Type the following command, then press Enter:

vncpasswd

4. Enter New Password

  • Type new password
  • Press Enter
  • Retype password to confirmation
  • Press Enter

Note: when typing the password, no characters appear — this is normal.

5. Read-Only Password

If questions arise:

Read-only password? (y/n)
  • Press the letter n
  • Press Enter

Finished ✅

VPS password was successfully changed and immediately activated.
