How to Install Laravel on cPanel Hosting

Following are several steps to install Laravel on cPanel. How to install Laravel on cPanel can be followed through the guide below.

Step 1 – First, please log in to cpanel. for a tutorial on how to log in to cpanel Click here

Step 2 – On the cPanel main page, search for the Softaculous Apps installer. If you have difficulty searching, it will be easier if you use the search field, then click Softaculous Apps installer.

Step 3 – On the Softaculous main page there are several options that can be implemented. Then, use the search field to search for Laravel. When the Laravel page opens, there will be some information there, including the latest updates and storage allocation as well as Laravel's newest features. Then, click “Install Now” to access the page Software Setup.

Step 4 – Please fill in the columns according to the instructions.

Information:

  • Quick Install, used to carry out a simple installation process, and only select the storage folder and domain.
  • Choose Protocol, is used to select what protocol you want to use: HTTPS or HTTP.
  • Choose Domain, used to select the domain that will be installed with Laravel.
  • In Directory, used to select the storage folder to be used for Laravel. If you want to save it in the main folder, just leave the column filled in http://yourdomain/ or if you want to save it in “folder” then fill in http://yourdomain/folder. 
  • Email installation details to, used to enter your email if you want to get information via email when the installation process is complete.

Then check again, and make sure there are no errors when charging.

Then click the button “Install” to continue the installation process.

Step 5 – Yeayy! Laravel Installed Successfully. If the installation process was successful and there were no errors, information will appear as shown in the image below.

The Laravel installation process is complete

Access https://yourdomain/ or https://yourdomain/my folder to check the installation results.
